Kerikeri & the Bay of Islands

What to see and do

Sail in, on and under the water amongst our 144 islands! Stand in awe of ancient Kauri forests; watch whales & dolphins – and maybe swim amongst them! Experience a traditional Maori welcome (powhiri) whilst discovering the uniqueness of New Zealand’s dual language and culture. Or just find a beach to yourself along the most spectacular coastline New Zealand has to offer.

Kerikeri is considered ‘the cradle of the nation’ and the site of the earliest European settlement, boasting New Zealand’s oldest buildings.  We are perfectly located for exploring the Far North of New Zealand.  Coaches collect guests from our front entrance for tours to Cape Reinga and the Bay itself.

At the end of the day; take a stroll to our nearby restaurants, or simply enjoy food and wine overlooking our superb grounds and gardens.
